Blade Terminals
In YAZAKI’s standard portfolio, blade type and eyelet type terminals are the core items, providing reliable electrical connection for today’s automotive industry.
Among YAZAKI’s broad range of terminals, the most accepted in the European market are:
- YESC (Yazaki Engineering Standard Connector) and YESC Kaizen terminals (0.64, 1.5, 2.8, 6.3 and 9.5 mm), available as sealed and unsealed version, tin plated and gold plated (0,64 – 1,5 mm)
- RH (0.64 mm) terminal, sealed in tin and gold plated versions
- MDW / M2DW (0. 64 mm) terminal, unsealed in tin and gold plated versions
- YAZAKI AK compatible terminals (1.2 mm), sealed and unsealed, in tin, silver and gold plated versions

With this range, YAZAKI is covering the various requirements of European OEM and different terminal strategies.
Additional to the above described terminal families, YAZAKI offers terminal systems originally designed for Japanese car manufacturers which by now have found its way into European cars and also into other application fields like construction equipment. Examples for this terminal families are:
- 090II (2.3 mm blade), available as sealed and unsealed version, tin and gold plated
- terminal systems with blade sizes of 4.8, 8.0 and 9.5 mm, available as sealed and unsealed version, tin plated

Connector Families
YAZAKI offers a wide range of housings which are either sealed or unsealed and are available for a specific terminal size or hybrid version for multiple terminal families. These connectors are designed for wire to wire or wire to device applications. In addition they are designed for crimp terminals or isolation displacement terminals with additional features like levers or sliders for low insertion force. YAZAKI can offer a wide range of existing items, as well as develop new components for specific applications.
To support YAZAKI's large range of terminals, YAZAKI has a range of housing families, specifically developed to meet the requirements of European customers:

YESC (Yazaki Engineering Standard Connector) and the for today’s competitive market streamlined YESC Kaizen (improved) are the first choice for major European car makers for reliable and robust electrical connection. The main features of this families are:
- Compliant with most European, US and Japanese specifications
- Available blade sizes ; 0.64X0.64(YESCK),0.64x0.8(YESC) 1.5X0.8, 2.8X0.8, 6.3X0.8, 9.5X1.2
- USCAR/ISO blade sizes compatibility
- Sealed/unsealed
- Inline connectors in broad range of pole quantities

YAZAKI’s RH connectors
The RH connector family features compact size sealed (water proof) connector with tab width of male terminal 0.64 mm and covering wire size 0.35 to 0.75 mm˛. The housing has internal lances and front holders for assuring terminal position.
The RH connector family can offer connector housings from 2 to 12 poles, in up to four different codings, to ensure incorrect mating.

Eyelet terminals
YAZAKI has a range of eyelets for different purposes. Main application is grounding, and YAZAKI supplies both sealed and unsealed versions (paired and stackable versions).
YAZAKI’s sealed eyelet terminal offers new possibilities for our customers to reduce wire corrosion and grounding failure that might arise due to the salty and humid environment. YAZAKI’s sealed eyelet enables a air tight connection, which does not allow any humidity creeping through the wire by capillary action which could lead to electronic system failures, or damage electronic modules.

In addition to grounding eyelets, YAZAKI has developed a range of shielded eyelet connectors, between 3 mm˛ and 35 mm˛ for high voltage connections, for example to combine electric motors, power electronics and high voltage energy systems.
Taking advantage of the mass production experience of Toyota Prius, YAZAKI has developed a shielded eyelet terminal meeting ISO standard wire size YAZAKI EEHXBSX 35 (35 mm˛).
