  2. Uphold the law, respect regional culture, and contribute to economic and social development
  3. Contribute to a prosperous future society through business focused on the environment and security

Environmental Charter

YAZAKI has made environmental response an important management issue, and in 2002 began construction of The YAZAKI Global Environmental Charter, revised for the 21st century, and the Environmental Policy and the Guide of Conduct that were adapted for the entire YAZAKI Group to comprehensively address environmental issues.

YAZAKI Global Environmental Charter (Adopted June 1997; Revised June 2006)

The YAZAKI Corporation Group recognizes that preservation of the global environment and its resources is a serious concern common to all mankind. We will strive to make the world a better place and work to enrich our societies through environmentally-sound business activities, environmental awareness and individual contributions which are in line with our fundamental business policy.

Guide of Conduct

  1. Enhance environmental management
  2. Take action to prevent global warming
  3. Promote the efficient use of resources towards the formation of a recycling-based society
  4. Reduce substances of concern
  5. Develop environmentally friendly products

Health & Safety

Workplace health and safety, phrased in the fifth fundamental management policy, is also a top-priority management issue. The creation of a safe and healthy workplace where one can work with peace of mind is the wish of all employees and the responsibility of the employer.

In addition to observing all applicable laws and regulations, YAZAKI continually implements improvements in workplace environments and health management. The health and safety activities adopted by senior management at each site are implemented systematically with the cooperation of all personnel involved.
