Another 34 Yazaki Ukraine employees donated blood in March
In March, 34 more employees decided to donate blood to save lives of Ukrainians. After the February blood drive, in which 38 colleagues took part, the March blood drive took place on 19 March, so that those who were unable to donate blood in February could also join in.
Tetyana Khodanych, Material Planning Leader: “I have always had a positive attitude to donation, but I became a donor for the first time only 2 years ago, after coming back from maternity leave. Having a rare blood type 4 and no contraindications, I believe that I have no moral right not to be a donor, especially now, during the war. I am glad that I have such an opportunity to do such an important thing without actually taking time off work and without spending my personal time. I am inspired by the thesis of Theodore Roosevelt, who said: “Do what you can with what you have, where you are.”
Serhii Sharyk, Manufacturing Quality Leader: “This was my 12th blood donation, as I have been donating blood for over 7 years. I think it is useful for both the donor and those who need blood. One of the most important goals I set for myself for the year is 3/4 blood donations. Many of my colleagues have joined me over this time, and others have joined them, so there are more and more of us, and this is very cool, this is what is the basis of a healthy nation. Donation is about a healthy lifestyle, donation is about helping, especially in today's conditions!»
Nargiza Makarshina, Product control inspector: “This is not the first time I have donated blood, but it is here since I came to the plant in 2022. Participation in this campaign is not just a good deed, but a way to help our people and defenders! When I imagine that my blood can save someone's life, I realise how important it is. Even a single blood donation can be the saving grace for a wounded soldier. I urge everyone who can to become a donor, because it is not only saving lives, but also a manifestation of support and gratitude to those who protect us.”
Every drop of your blood is a chance for recovery for those who need it. We thank everyone who responds, comes and selflessly helps to save lives. May your kindness be an inspiration to others! Share your story, motivate your friends, and become part of a big family of donors!
