Yazaki Honored with Groupe PSA’s Competitiveness Award

KÖLN, Germany, July 11, 2019 – Yazaki has received Groupe PSA’s Competitiveness Award in recognition for its exceptional performance in respect of technical savings and efforts in 2018. Yazaki was the only one of PSA’s top 20 suppliers to be recognized during its annual awards ceremony held June 13, 2019 in Paris. Yazaki Europe Ltd. President Bo Andersson accepted the award on behalf of the company.

“We are honored to have been recognized for our performance as a Groupe PSA partner and are encouraged to continue our relentless drive for excellence in quality, cost, and delivery,” said Yazaki Europe Ltd. Paris Director of Operations Jeroen Deen. “Both of our companies are devoted to quality and efficiency. We are happy to be able to apply Yazaki’s ‘can do’ attitude and commitment to help PSA meet its objectives.”

The 2019 Competitiveness Trophy rewarded companies which have demonstrated during 2018 exceptional cost-savings performance and efforts and who played an important role in the success of Groupe PSA’s Push to Pass strategic plan. Suppliers are challenged to be innovative and flexible in finding ways to successfully support Groupe PSA’s requirements and exceed quality, cost, and delivery expectations.

“The Yazaki team’s hard work and dedication to customers is something we pride ourselves on,” said Mr. Deen. “This honor could only be achieved with tremendous efforts by all of our Yazaki team members.”
