Yazaki Ukraine Wears the Vyshyvanka Style

Every third Thursday in May, Ukrainians − and friends − around the world celebrate the ‘Vyshyvanka Day”. What is now an international cultural holiday, originated in 2006 as a student initiative: The founders aimed at raising awareness about identity, preserve the ancient folk traditions of creating and wearing ethnic embroidered Ukrainian clothes. They did this by promoting to wear Vyshyvankas, which are the traditional embroidered shirts.

Our colleagues from Yazaki Ukraine (YUL), of course, made no exception this year, as the images impressively illustrate.
